April 19, 2024

On Friday, April 19, 2024, nearly two years after proposed changes to Title IX regulations were released, the U.S. Department of Education published its final Title IX regulations. These new rules roll back and modify many portions of the 2020 Title IX regulations, and will go into effect on August 1, 2024. We will be providing more information in the near future, including policy guidance and training opportunities to ensure your Title IX team is ready to implement the new rules on August 1. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact a member of the Ahlers & Cooney Education Law Practice Group.
