COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIVERSITY!*
Ahlers & Cooney is working with the School Administrators of Iowa to offer an in-depth seminar in the essentials of collective bargaining. The Collective Bargaining University will stress an understanding of employer and employee rights as defined in the law and how to recognize when a proposal may compromise your rights as managers.
Session information:
"Collective Bargaining University!" is being offered in two, one-and one-half day sessions:
■ Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the SAI Office in Clive
■ Dec. 8 from 8 a.m. - Noon at the SAI Office in Clive
■ Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Heartland AEA in Room 13B, Johnston
■ Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. - Noon at the SAI Office in Clive

Registration and Credit:
Register online at http://www.sai-iowa.org/reghtml/. Registration is limited to the first 50 registrants. Tuition is $300 for SAI members and $480 for non-members, which covers faculty compensation, materials, meals, beverages and snacks during the course. Enrolled members will be responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and meals outside of class.
One hour of administrator license renewal credit is available if you participate in "Collective Bargaining University I." To receive credit, you must attend for the duration of all four sessions, Dec. 7 & 8 and Jan. 11 & 12.
