Sam McMichael recently joined Ahlers & Cooney, P.C. as an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Practice Group for both public law and private law clients, with a focus on employment law and construction law.
Sam handles general litigation and advises clients on all manner of cases. In his practice, he counsels clients on their legal rights and litigation strategy throughout the litigation process. Sam also prepares clients for the courtroom and works to facilitate the best possible outcome in any scenario. In the area of employment law, Sam works on a variety of issues, including employment discrimination, FMLA violations, wrongful termination, retaliation, unemployment claims, and wage and payment matters. In addition, Sam conducts internal investigations for a variety of employment-related matters.
Sam graduated with Highest Honors from Drake University Law School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in business administration.
