Eric Boehlert, as a member of the Dean's Cup Planning Committee, will be presented with the "Excellence in Service Award" by Iowa Legal Aid at its annual meeting on Saturday, May 1, 2010. The award recognizes the Committee's many contributions on behalf of Iowa Legal Aid and the low-income Iowans that they serve.
Mr. Boehlert has been a member of the Dean's Cup Planning Committee since its inception in 2005. The event is a collegial golf tournament matching teams representing the Drake Law School and The Iowa College of Law. Players of every level are sought from all law graduates; and the faculty, staff and students of Drake Law School and the Iowa College of Law with the goal of raising funds for Iowa Legal Aid. To date, the event has raised over $30,000 for this worthy cause.
