Danielle Haindfield selected for Des Moines’ Forty Under 40 List
Des Moines, Iowa (February 4, 2013) Danielle Haindfield was recently selected to the Des Moines Business Record’s “Forty Under 40” 2013 class.
Last week, the publication announced the list of 40 local business leaders – all under the age of 40 – with impressive achievement in their career and community involvement. These honorees join a group of nearly 600 leaders recognized over the years by Business Record’s Forty Under 40 list. On March 12, the group will be honored at an award reception at the West Des Moines Sheraton.
Danielle, a member of Ahlers & Cooney’s K-12 Education Law group, specializes in serving school districts in a variety of ways: counseling on student and personnel issues, performing contract and policy review, conducting real estate transactions, and advising on board governance issues. She serves as general counsel to the Iowa Association of School Business Officials. Danielle has also developed a specialty in the area of construction law. She studied public relations at Drake University before continuing on to Drake University Law School where she graduated Order of the Coif.
Danielle has been active in her community, as well as with her profession. She has served on several boards for her profession, including: the NSBA National Council of School Attorneys, the Iowa Council of School Attorneys, and the Iowa State Bar Review School. In the community, she volunteers at her church, is a member of United Way’s Leadership Circle, and serves as an Intake Attorney with Legal Aid of Central Iowa.
