Craig practices in the firm’s education and employment law areas, advising public and private employers on a wide range of regulatory, compliance and personnel matters. He works closely with education, particularly special education, and public-sector clients on employment, governance and compliance issues unique to public institutions. His work is informed by experience across administrative law, constitutional issues and government operations.
Prior to joining Ahlers & Cooney, Craig served as an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Social Security Administration, Office of the Inspector General, where he provided legal guidance on administrative law, ethics, appropriations and disclosure matters, and supported investigative and audit functions. His background also includes experience in private practice in Washington, D.C., where he worked on complex regulatory matters.
