Cameron W. Cooper

Background

Cameron (Cam) Cooper joined the Ahlers Litigation Practice Group in 2025. Cam is committed to helping clients resolve disputes efficiently and effectively, and enjoys the challenges legal work provides across a variety of matters.

He works with clients and Ahlers attorneys in the areas of case research, drafting motions, and preparation for hearings and trials, as well as developing strategies and navigating the litigation process. In employment law matters, Cam assists with issues such as discrimination, FMLA compliance, wrongful termination, retaliation, unemployment claims, and wage and hour concerns. Cam also supports employers with workers’ compensation claims.

During law school, Cam was a Law Clerk at the Ahlers firm, as well as a Summer Justice Intern for Iowa Legal Aid through AmeriCorps. Prior to law school, Cam worked for the St. Bernard Project, a disaster relief organization, as well as at a nationally-recognized insurance company in Houston.
