Des Moines, Iowa (May 27, 2015) Rebecca Reif has joined the Ahlers & Cooney law firm as a member of the firm’s Employment & Labor Law, Higher Education, and K-12 Education practice areas.
In the area of employment law, Rebecca serves clients in strategic planning and litigation related to employment relationships, including reviewing and revising policies, employee handbooks, and employment agreements. In addition, she assists employers in defending employment-related claims.
For clients in Higher Education and K12 Education, Rebecca serves in both advisory and advocacy capacities. She assists education clients with issues such as student rights and discipline, employee misconduct, tort liability and claims, civil rights and discrimination, constitutional law, special education litigation, and policy and governance issues.
Originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Rebecca graduated from Drake University Law School with highest honors in 2013, and Colorado State University in 2008.
