Ivan Webber, partner with Ahlers & Cooney, P.C., received the 2010 Public Service Award from the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU) at their annual conference on October 6, 2010. This award recognizes substantial contributions to the municipal utilities industry and lasting statewide influence.
Organized in 1947, the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities today is the largest organization of its kind in the country. IAMU represents more than 550 municipal electric, gas, water and telecommunication utilities statewide.
Ivan Webber is a member of Ahlers & Cooney’s Public Finance & Law and Litigation groups and focuses on serving cities, city utilities, school districts, special districts and other local governments in the exercise of their powers and in litigation. Ivan’s wealth of experience – 39 years – in local government law and litigation allows him to serve as a resource for city attorneys and local government officials upon which they can rely.
