| Sue Luettjohann Seitz
was born
in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She received her B.A. with highest distinction in 1974 and her J.D. with highest distinction
in 1976 from the University of Iowa. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Order of the Coif, Moot Court Board,
Phi Delta Phi, and the recipient of the Hancher Award from the University of Iowa. She is a member of the Local
Government Law and Employment Law department of the Firm. She served as chair of the Iowa State Bar Association
Section on Administrative Law, as chair of the Iowa Council of School Board Attorneys, served on the Polk County
Bar Attorney Fee Arbitration Committee, and was elected as a Fellow of the Iowa State Bar Association. She has
also served as a mediator for the Iowa Civil Rights Commission and as a visiting professor in the Department of
Education of the University of Iowa. She is a member of the National Council of School Board Attorneys, the Iowa
Council of School Board Attorneys (Executive Committee), the Iowa State Bar Association, and the Polk County Bar
Association. |
