Richard G. SantiRichard G. Santi was born in Ames, Iowa. He received his B.S. (Business) in 1966 from Iowa State University and his J.D. with high distinction from the University of Iowa in 1969. He was a Note and Comments Editor of the Iowa Law Review, 1968-1969, Order of the Coif and a member of Phi Alpha Delta.

He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1969 and served as law clerk to Hon. William C. Hanson, U.S. District Judge, 1969-71. He is a member of the General Litigation department and is of counsel to the Firm. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, President of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, 2003-04, and a member of the Blackstone Inn of Court (Emeritus).

He is also a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations.
