Nicholas A. Klinefeldt was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He received his
B.A. with honors and his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa. While in law school, he served as Note
and Comment Editor of the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice and Co-President of the Equal Justice Foundation.
After law school, he clerked for District Judge Robert W. Pratt of the United States District Court for the Southern
District of Iowa from 2000 to 2002. He then clerked for Chief Justice Christopher J. Armstrong and Justice Benjamin
Kaplan of the Massachusetts Appeals Court from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006, he practiced complex civil and
criminal litigation in Boston, Massachusetts.
He joined the Firm in 2006 and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Iowa. He is a member of the Polk County,
Iowa State, and American Bar Associations. He practices in the Firm's General Litigation department. |
