Mark W. BeermanMark W. Beerman was born in Mason City, Iowa. He received his B.A. in 1969 and his J.D. in 1972 from Valparaiso University. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1973 and in 1976 obtained his LL.M in taxation from Georgetown University. He was a member of the Board of Editors of the Valparaiso Law Review, 1971-1972.

He is a member of the Business Law and Local Government Law and Employment Law departments of the Firm. Prior to joining the Firm, he served four years with the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service, in Washington, D.C. He also was law clerk to the Honorable M. L. Mason, Justice of the Iowa Supreme Court in 1973-74.

He is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations.
