Lance A. Coppock was born in Indianola, Iowa, and was admitted
to the Iowa Bar in January 1973 following graduation from Drake University College of Business Administration and
Drake University Law School.
He is a member of the Firm's Public Finance department. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.
He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), and has been a member of the Steering Committee
for the Bond Attorneys' Workshop and a faculty member of the NABL Seminar for Fundamentals of Municipal Bond Law.
He is a Fellow of the Iowa State Bar Foundation.
He is also a member of the American, Iowa and Polk County Bar Associations, the National Association of College
and University Attorneys and the American Public Power Association Legal Section. Prior to joining the firm, he
served as a staff attorney for the Iowa Supreme Court and as law clerk to United States Circuit Judge Roy L. Stephenson
of the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. |
