Kenneth H. Haynie was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from
the University of Michigan College of Law in 1957 (J.D., with distinction, Order of the Coif), serving as a member
of the Board of Editors of the Michigan Law Review in 1956. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1957.
He is a member of the Public Finance and Business Law departments of the Firm and Of Counsel to the Firm. He is
past Chairman of the Joint Committee of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Iowa Investment Bankers Association,
and served as a member of the American Bar Association Committees on General Obligation Bonds, and Liaison with
the Securities Industry Association and Liaison with the Municipal Finance Officers Association in the Section
of Urban, State and Local Government Law.
He is also a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and a Fellow, American College of Bond Counsel
(Director 1995-). |
