David R. Milligan was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1974 following graduation from the Drake University College of Business Administration and Drake University Law School. He is a member of the Firm's Business Law Department and Of Counsel to the Firm. Prior to joining the Firm he was in the private practice of law in Des Moines from 1974 to 1980 and employed by West Bank from 1980 until his retirement in 2006. With West Bank he served as a Trust Officer, Commercial Lender, General Counsel, and C.E.O. and Chairman. He is a member of the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations.
